After purchasing the item, my messages asking for a copy of the shipping receipt were all ignored. The shipping charge was $20 even though I received a flat rate box labeled $14.50.
The shoes were haphazardly wrapped in nothing but a plastic garbage bag in the much bigger box with a lot of empty space and no further padding. They came tumbling out when I opened the box. In the light the shoes are coated in micro scratches, but it's unclear if that was before or after tumbling around freely in shipping.
The shoes themselves were completely caked in dust and needed thorough wiping. When I messaged the seller about these things, the message was also ignored.
When I sell an item, I at least try to make sure they are as clean as possible with the condition details fully disclosed, packaged securely and charged with accurate shipping fees. I consider this pretty basic seller's etiquette.
